Obituary of Marty Diesenhof
Marty Diesenhof died Sunday November 10th in Denver, Colorado.
He DID a lot of things: He worked, provided, loved, coached, helped, sacrificed, and enjoyed. He WAS a lot of things: He was loving, selfless, empathetic, smart, brave, and effective. Dangerous golfer. Surprisingly good sailor. Loyal like you wish you yourself could be loyal. He graduated from Yeshiva of Flatbush, Midwood High School, Syracuse University and Fairleigh Dickinson University because education was important to him. He married his wife Ellen because love was important to him. After her death, he married Jane Conrad who buoyed him. He was active in Jewish life because religion quietly guided him. He hated commuting. He lived for music. The mountains called him and eventually he answered. He tuned his own skis. He liked dogs more than he let on. Cats made him sneeze. He paid his taxes and endured hardships and expected you to do the same, without kvetching.
