I met Diane, Don's wife, on my oldest son, Daniel's 1st day of Kindergarten, and then met DON soon after. We All became fast friends, and for more than 4 decades we spent many good times together. Don was funny, smart and an avid gardener. I have such wonderful memories shared, but will miss him more than you can imagine. We were always just minutes away in NJ, but a year ago, Diane & Don moved to Aurora, CO, to be closer to Family. It was very hard on me, but knew was it was the right decision, to be close to daughter Lindsay, Jeremy, and their new Grandson! We were so lucky to visit them in August, and I treasure that visit, another good memory.
I can't really tell you how special friendships that last for decades are, but I have treasured ours,. We will miss Don more than words can say. He was really the Best, and send our Love sincere condolences to the entire family.
