Dear Deb and Family: I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Chris. He was a smart, kind, fine man. Chris and I shared common memories of our boyhood summers spent in the late 1960s at Camp Kennebec on Salmon Lake in Maine. We had a core of shared experiences - climbing Tumbledown Mtn and Mt Katahdin and canoeing Moose River and the Allagash River, not to mention the amazing memories from time in the camp - that connected us and our fellow campers across the decades. I was so glad to reconnect with him recently when he reached out to me. I pray that your family memories will sustain you and warm your hearts through the years.

Debbie, I was sorry to hear about Chris' passing. Memories of the shows we were in are some of the best memories that I have. You and Chris are part of my "second family" and I am honored to call you both friends. May Chris rest peacefully and may God send comfort to you and your family. Eileen A.

So sad for the loss of a dear friend. Deepest condolences to Deb and family. I first met Chris at a small school in CT,Mr. Gunns School, in 1968. We skied together and were immediately friends due to Chris’s sense of humor. Fast forward to 1978 when we accidentally met at the Telluride lodge in CO. After all the years he recognized me and said,”I know you from somewhere…”. I said,”past life perhaps?”. From there Chris visited my art studio and consequently bought a number of paintings. I was a young artist at the time. Over the years we’ve stayed in touch, mostly with hilarious phone calls. Great guy. I have only good memories of Chris and am deeply saddened by his passing. Fly free, old buddy!

I am so sorry for your loss. I am grateful I had the opportunity to work with Chris and to speak with him in depth about life, family, and legacy. It was clear how deeply he cared about his family, his community, and the people around him. He always took the time to check in and show genuine kindness. May his memory be a blessing.
